We had a great day on Sunday and met two new friends of LCNC, Kris and Gregory, who you can see in the photos with Alison, filling the cracks in our straw bale office, the 'old girl'. We think the weather has been so warm that the cobbing we did on the inside has dried very quickly and led to a lot of cracking, much more than we had on the outside. Never mind! Thanks to these three stalwarts the cracks are now filled.
Not only that, Lani and Dee made 76 seed bombs for us to sell at autumn fairs and we are moving the baths! Now we are nearing the end of cobbing the 'old girl' we don’t need the baths. They will go in a shed and the garden is uncovered! We can start landscaping!
Things are moving on apace! Come and join us on our next volunteer work day.
